About Equity First
Decades of Experience. One Unwavering Commitment.
A boutique business brokerage built on discretion, expertise, and a genuine partnership with every seller I represent.
My Story
Founded in the Philadelphia suburbs. Built for its business owners.
Equity First Business Advisors was founded with a single conviction: that business owners in the Philadelphia suburbs deserved the same caliber of representation that larger markets took for granted. Too many sellers were leaving value on the table — or worse, watching deals fall apart — because they lacked experienced, dedicated advocates.
Over the years, I have guided more than 150 business owners through successful exits across Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Bucks Counties. My clients range from family-owned manufacturers and healthcare practices to regional service businesses and specialty retailers.
What has never changed is my approach: every engagement begins with a confidential conversation, proceeds at the seller's pace, and ends with a transaction that honors the value of what they built.
Confidentiality First
I never disclose your identity or business details without your written consent. Every buyer is vetted and signed before receiving any information.
Honest Valuations
I give you a realistic, defensible picture of what your business is worth — not an inflated number designed to win your listing.
Your Timeline
I work at your pace. Whether you want to close in six months or are still two years from ready, I plan around your goals.
Local Market Depth
I know the Philadelphia suburb market — its buyers, its industries, and its deal dynamics — better than any national brokerage firm.
Your Advisor
The person who will represent you.
Terri Keeler
Principal Advisor
Terri Keeler brings a distinctive combination of financial expertise, entrepreneurship, brokerage experience, and practical business insight to Equity First Business Advisors. A former CPA and longtime real estate broker, Terri has spent her career analyzing financial opportunities, structuring complex transactions, negotiating on behalf of clients, and helping investors and business owners make informed financial decisions. An entrepreneur herself, Terri has founded and operated several businesses, giving her firsthand understanding of what it takes to build a company—and how personal the decision to eventually sell or transition that business can be. Her experience also includes serving as a Mastery Coach associated with HGTV's Flip This House, where she coached real estate investors in acquisition, financing, renovation, and investment strategy. Today, Terri combines that financial and transactional background with specialized business-brokerage training to help privately held business owners understand the value of what they've built, prepare for a successful transition, and confidently navigate the sale of their business.
